Cap's Garden

I am a gardener and a hosta collector.  I believe that a truly beautiful and interesting garden needs some diversity.  My shady acre limits the range of plants I can grow, but don't be intimidated by shade.  Embrace all the degrees of shade in your garden and search out plants that will thrive in each different environment.  Through trial and error, you'll figure it out.  Don't be afraid to move things around if they're not doing well where they are.  You'll need a magnifying glass to see any annuals in my garden (except in containers).  Over the years, I've found perennials for pretty much every nook and cranny, as well as lots of companion plants for my beloved hostas (check out "Hostabuddies").  Take a peek for some inspiration for your own space.
